- Additional information
Named after an infamous bohemian private members club opened in London in 1874 just a year before Cole & Son was founded the collection evokes the glamorous and poetic era of the 18th & 19th century. Each of the nine designs references a cultural icon or gem of the time.
Creative Director, Shauna Dennison comments, we selected a series of traditional damask prints from our vast archive, adapting the designs and colours and experimenting with different printing techniques to create a modern feel. The result is an elegant collection ideal for both heritage and contemporary settings; the creativity of Albemarle is a homage to the rich artistic period from which it is inspired.
The print references the fashion for gilding with ornamental gold leaf and other precious metals. This elegant pattern of feathered plumes is designed as a panel and features burnished metallics on a range of neutral grounds. Available in five colourways.
